ok first off... its a skyline front end on a 240 sx not a silvia... a silvia is an s14 or s13 which has an sr20 or a ca18 in it... this is a 240 because it has a ka24...

it just bullshit that some one puts a piece of plastic on the car that says silvia and its now a silvia... its like some one putting a gtr badge on a mustang... it doesnt make it a gtr cause there isnt such a thing...

all im saying is that i wish people knew that they were so rice they dont even know what there talking about...

dont get me wrong if i had the money to buy and swap parts off the car... i would... cause the car is not bad but its not a silvia and its the ugliest skyline front end i have ever seen...

And its not like putting a gt-r badge on a mustang, a silvia badge on a 240 which is basically the same car, would you yell at a guy who put jdm lenses on his civic and refered to it as an EK instead? No you wouldnt.

I didn't think the KA24DE came with red valve cover? That's my only issue is that it is slightly misleading to say you have a "red top" because that usually referrs to an SR20DET motor. Everything else looks correct though.

I think the JDM integra front end swap looks cleaner than this guys skyline/240 swap. Probably because the integra swap is bolt on because it's all the same chasis. I do like the JDM integra front end better than the US round headlight front end. The headlights just look nicer.

I agree with what you are saying. A 240 is not the same as a 180 or a silvia or whatever people are calling them now in the states. im glad the new F&F came out...now the nissan crowd can deal with the neon lights, rainbow interior and stupid ass wheels.

licenseless and I used to run the streets together. His car was a bit slow compared to many other silvias but he wasnt afraid to get it out there either....

He has since left...

but yeah, I head down to S&H's about once a week usually just ot check the car out and shoot the ---- for a bit. seems like yesterday that thing was just getting the caged MOCKED up.

i am still impressed that they did the color change on the support bars and kept the frame white... heres what i am talking about cause after reading that it sounds stupid...see the purple bar then the white frame... impressive paint job to say the least...
