Look at the voltage curve. It cuts off at about 4.5 volts because it reached the limit of the stock map sensor. Based on the curve prior to that point, and assuming the wastegate was disabled (which it was) the boost curve kept climbing even after the sensor wasn't able to go any higher. The boost guage itself was reading 13-14 psi before it blew.
Edit: When the stock wastegate was in place, the boost guage was reading 7psi, but both the SAFC and the stock map sensor were reading 4.5 psi. The boost guage and wastegate work off of relative pressure, and the map sensor works off of absolute pressure.

LOL nice explosion... but we're still pushing .73 bar through my buddy's b7 hatch -- for 25k miles and counting... with a greddy kit + uberdata tuned by me, by ear.
You guys just must be finding weak ones? Or not running mobil1. I swear, mobil1 just makes my motor stay alive....
