*Completely* built (around 15-20usd grand) '94 v6 1mz-fe (still 3.0L boosting on 10.2:1 CR!) Camry. GT40/88 @ 12psi (392fwhp - 501bhp) That's not even full boost!?, 4500rpm stall T/C, Fully IPT built transmission.


Everything on the car changed, everything about it custom (Tony & his brother own a Custom performance shop in Canada.) The Biggest, Baddest Camry/ES/Windom on the planet.

Runs are 0-130mph & 0-124mph.
For anyone wondering, The weight should be within a hundred pounds, or so. The Aero cd is the same, with the vette having a smaller frontal section (around 19.4^2ft VS 22.7^2ft)

If anyone has ever doubted me that until you hit *insane* power levels - FWD = RWD *when* given the same supporting mods (LSD/differential geometry, suspension geometry). This is a great example of that! :)

:3 Tony talks no ---- on the internet, and is a great guy. He'll tell you straight like it is, but doesn't go flabbing around about the teg, or camry.
Tony is known across nearly every Toyota forum as being quite classy.

I think you've got the wrong person WOT.




That's not nessicarily a bad thing. If it's an S-block (3s-fe / 5s-fe), that means both the 3s-ge, and 3s-gte heads bolt on without work. And without the heads, the exhaust manifold bolts patterns are the same.
So it's not much work to slap a 3s-gte turbo manifold on one.
About like most other N/A i4's. Beware of running lean on boost & it won't blow up. Let them run lean & you'll look like a ------- retard. Besides. Toyota builds good bottom ends.

If it's one of the newer i4's, they do well on boost - despite the high compression ratios. You see few of them turbo'd because noone cares to get into custom manifolds. ;)

Eh? Toyota engine codes are next easyest to learn behind nissan.
All you really need to know is it's Toyota's 3.0L v6 in north america from 94-01.

All of us running turbo Camry platforms... God love us, the one thing we all ahve in common more than anything else is that nobody is ever running at the same times ROTFLMAO!

There's already one Camry that's run a 7s 1/4 mile in australia. I forget if it's a 2jz-gte, or one of the uz-fe v8's that's be converted to rwd, but it's one, or the other.

that guy is a very relaxed driver, kinda like me. everytime you see these race vids on the net the driver looks like he's trying to do a million different things at once instead of just concentrating on shifting. although that could be just different people's style.

I'm glad that thing isn't near me, it'd make what i'm doing feel totally pointless.

Me and some friends turboed a 89 toyota pick up truck with the 3vze 3.0 in it. It was ghetto as hell. It lasted 2 days. I think I might have some picks on my old harddrive. I will have to look them up. Its good for a laugh.

toysrme: your right we all get boosted at different times and nobody has theirs running for long. i'm getting a flange made for my turbo cause that's all i need now. so i will be joining the ranks.

5sfe + turbo = 5sfte

and my v6 is waiting for me to find a turbo for it
