Bling Bling! (Legal experts, inquire within)
My buddy and I went to Zales a couple of weeks ago.. He went to get his diamond bracelet cleaned and we were just looking around, guy asked us if we had a Zales credit line, I said no, he gave me an application. Being 17, I thought it would be funny just to apply... Well, I got a credit card from them today.. When you're a minor and a credit card is given to you, they cannot hold you accountable for purchases made on it, correct? If so, I'm gonna be havin some major bling bling soon 8)
Cliffs notes: I got a Zales credit card, I'm a minor, can I buy stuff and get away with it? |

I think your parents will be the one who will be punished. Hard to believe that the credit world has a loop hole like that

A guy I know got credit from a bank when he was 16, his mom found out about it and filed a lawsuit against the bank, she won and he didn't have to pay his $2000 debt because it was illegal for the bank to lend him money.

Re:Bling Bling! (Legal experts, inquire within)
before I was 18 if I knew I could get away with something, I'd do it. Especially if it'd make me that much money. I say do it, and have your mom sue their asses when they try to ---- you on it.

haha.. I might buy something small, like a watch or something.. or maybe buy some small gifts for christmas. It'd be nice to start out credit early.
Also, I've had a credit card since I was 15.. my mom took mine and cut it up, but she uses the other card, so I might have some good credit by now :D |
