Most people who get "engaged" break-up long before the actual set date for the wedding. ---- a big fansy wedding. If/when I get married it's going to be in Vegas and it's going to be cheap. Why spend all that money on a wedding? It's one day in your life. Why bust your *** all year long to have fun for one day? It doesn't make sense to me. I'd rather have the money in the bank or buy a new vehicle or pay off bills....etc...etc.
Rings are gay anyways. My wife will have to accept the fact that I will not wear a wedding ring. Guys shouldn't wear jewelery, especially rings.
I'm a man. I don't need to prance around with shiny rings on my fingers. :P

boost- when you meet the right woman, you will want to get her a big rock to wear on her finger. you want her to tell everyone how great you are, and she isn't going to do that with her .00025 carat ring she can't see the stone in. Its not that woman are material, but they do like to think they are special.

Way to go spoons. Hey Chris way to join the crowd. I got engaged to my gf on Dec. 11. Maybe that four of us will have to go out together sometime. And Hey Do I see a double whammy bachelor party comin' up?
And I'm still in school and so is she. We are waiting till I'm out for at least a year or two (2006 at earliest) so I can support us.
