Default Blew my motor!

i know i probably blew the piston rings or ring lands... but not too sure yet. one of the spark plugs had oil all over the firing tip. it sounds like its running and only 3cylinders and smokes like a ****!!! is it the rings or headgasket? i know its gone for sure but i'm just trying to pinpoint the exact issue. please help asap!

Smoke screen + Scoobie sound usually means ringlands. Do a quick compression test and get back.

i was just about to do a compression test but since one of the spark plugs was covered in oil at the firing tip, i already figured that was the cylinder that was gone! oil all over the spark plugs tip usually means what? ringlands right? and is it ok to do a compression test on that cylinder since it was covered in oil? i mean i already know that's the cyl. thats gone...

you guys didnt answer me...is it ok to do a compression test on that cylinder which had oil on the spark plug tip? i know thats the cyl. thats gone. do you guys think i should build the D or spend a little more and get a b16 for now....and ofcourse turbo that biiaattcchh! i would really like to stick with what i got.... i love my single cam and i pulled some b-series turbo cars with it, so i would like to keep the d16a6 alive!!!! what to do, what to do

keep the d. put in new pistons and call it a day. it'll be way easier and cheaper than swapping in a b.
