People boost stock LS engine to 1bar all the time... hell, some people get away with that much boost on a stock d16.
I personally think you will be fine running 1bar with vitaras + ls rods, they are quite a bit thicker and stronger than d-series rods... Good luck! |

Send you LS rods to me and I'll shotpeen them for $20, anyway, the Ls rods will be fine for 15 psi. They hold around 300-350 hp safely and you won't be making that much so you're fine. I think the vitaras are just as prone to blowing at that power level anyway.
