Canadapost is actually pretty good. I ship packages every day with them.
Shipping delays are rare. Lost or stolen packages are exceptional... Only a handfull of cases in the last 5 years.
At BLaastperformance, all items ship within 48 hrs. That's our turn around time. It was respected for this order as well. Confirmation (not tracking) number is always provided to confirm so.

All packages are fully insured of course. In case of problem, A replacement item is shipped as soon as the postal company CONFIRMS that the package is lost or stolen and not just delayed. They always investigate the case before giving such confirmation.
If a replacement item would be shipped before that confirmation, the buyer may receive TWO items and the second would be at our full expense. Not covered by any insurance.

Oh, ok, you have all these comments, but you forgot to state the part where you can talk to people like ----, make racist comments and basically give **** poor customer service. Just so your 100% AWARE, this thread was started by ME, not the guy your ------- over. He never aked me to start the thread I did it on my own free will because I hate to see a good guy get screwed. It is not his mother that is calling, it was friend that does not get discouraged by complete asshats like you on the phone. Hell yes, he HAS MAILED claims out to various organizations, he would be a fool to just take your word and not cover his *** after the way you have handled the situation. This is the only forum that this has been brought up on because this is where I felt like discussing it. Raising hell No, trust me you terd, you would know if I was raising hell and trust me I am not. You know, I don't really care what the majority of the other people on this forum think of your or your service, in my opinion your one of the reasons that internet sales between borders should have a designated shipping method, that way there is no way to sit back and make excuses. A good business person would pick a shipping method that would not take weeks to find out if a package is missing or not. I would not even consider using a place that says it could take 30 or more days to confirm if a package has been delivered. You got his $500, now spend a few to ensure the package gets to its destination. Whatever...you go on believing whatever it is that you believe about your competancy as a business person and your ability to deal with people and I will go on KNOWING.

Ok, with him sending you a payment which had a name and return address in which to mail the product (hey guess what, there is the name again) and emails after several, it's gonna be here "x" day conversations....how can you say you did not know his name. Yea, now your not making a racial comment.

I was never personally involved with this until I made this post, I just know all the details about the transaction because he has kept me informed. So you were being rude to everyone else long before I was involved. Let me promise you, you couldn't handle me if I was in the mood and whatever you do, don't view that as a threat cause I don't even know your name

With that said, if the shipping company did infact lose the package, how is that at all the sellers fault? If the seller knew the shipping company was going to lose the package then I could see it, but I'm guessing he didn't? Also, it has already been stated that the seller is going to replace the item IF it does infact become a lost item. So the buyer isn't going to get screwed on this deal. It sucks that he has had to wait this whole time for his item, but it's not really the sellers fault, is it?

I'm just not seeing where the seller is in the wrong in this situation. The people to blame would be the shipping company. I've never dealt with this seller so I don't know how he is about this sort of thing. I'm just giving my unbiased opinion.
