Canadapost is actually pretty good. I ship packages every day with them.
Shipping delays are rare. Lost or stolen packages are exceptional... Only a handfull of cases in the last 5 years.
At BLaastperformance, all items ship within 48 hrs. That's our turn around time. It was respected for this order as well. Confirmation (not tracking) number is always provided to confirm so.
All packages are fully insured of course. In case of problem, A replacement item is shipped as soon as the postal company CONFIRMS that the package is lost or stolen and not just delayed. They always investigate the case before giving such confirmation.
If a replacement item would be shipped before that confirmation, the buyer may receive TWO items and the second would be at our full expense. Not covered by any insurance.

You can ask your MOTHER to call me to threaten of law suits and such,
You can File false and unjustified Fraud claims eveywhere,
You can write loads of B.S. on different forums,
You can harrass me over the phone all day long,
You can raise Hell basically...
The outcome will be exactly the same: Any item lost or damaged in the shipping process WILL BE REPLACED (not refunded) as soon as the faulty shipping company confirms it's time to do so.

I was never personally involved with this until I made this post, I just know all the details about the transaction because he has kept me informed. So you were being rude to everyone else long before I was involved. Let me promise you, you couldn't handle me if I was in the mood and whatever you do, don't view that as a threat cause I don't even know your name

I'm not taking sides here....
With that said, if the shipping company did infact lose the package, how is that at all the sellers fault? If the seller knew the shipping company was going to lose the package then I could see it, but I'm guessing he didn't? Also, it has already been stated that the seller is going to replace the item IF it does infact become a lost item. So the buyer isn't going to get screwed on this deal. It sucks that he has had to wait this whole time for his item, but it's not really the sellers fault, is it?
I'm just not seeing where the seller is in the wrong in this situation. The people to blame would be the shipping company. I've never dealt with this seller so I don't know how he is about this sort of thing. I'm just giving my unbiased opinion.
