Bithlow June 25th....Track Meet... Some Pictures

Well We went to the track last friday. Complete disapointment(sp), for me. The Hatch ran a best 17.8@80mph. Yes it did. My clutch/preassure plate is gone. Ouch, The car will not move if I dump the clutch off the line at all, it won't hold acceleration after 5000rpm's, and I can shift 3rd and 4th without using the clutch. I need a new clutch kit. Oh well, next time it should be better. I need a new clutch kit, and while I'm at it new axles. Here are some pictures, I was too pissed to take more.

Here is Mike's hatch's sticker. I was too upset to take more pictures of the car. HMT reprezentz.

This would be me, red hatch, lining up for the first run, pathetic, 17.9, the other guy had a b series, not sure what, N/A ran 14.5.

2004 STi the guy could not drive for ----, he kept getting 15 second times, his best I think was a 14.5 or so, I ran 13.9 on my WRX.

Which is this one, 2002 WRX my sister wanted to go but didn't have a car so I let her drive mine, she can drive better than most guys.

car's lining up. This crossfire was beautiful, I like the car, I only saw it running once, ran a high 14 pass I think.

And of course the classic shot. I knew I eventually would need a new clutch, but this POS lasted about 2 weeks, I thought it would have lasted a little more, I guess not. I will make another post in the FI forum of exactly what's happening to get opinions from people.
All in all it was a fun night, Biggmike was there, and they had some fun races, like the diesel trucks, all the bikes, running 10's and all the rice, like the Hyundai with the metal wing that ran 20's. It was great.

Well all the way down the track, the whole 1/4 mile, I wasn't really engaging, well the clutch wasn't, really shitty, but yeah a new clutch should fix that.
