did 86 accord lx-is have the f22? it's a 12 valve single slammer mpfi. I'm thinking of buying one in pretty good condition for $850.

this one doesn't, are you sure you know what you're talking about? I popped the hood myself and saw 12-valve stamped on the intake manifold that had 4 injectors in it.

yep the only alignable parts of 4th gens is the toe, which is aligned by the tie rod, you undo the balljoin, and turn the tie rod a coupl times, then tiened the jam nut down.

I"ve got my alignment technique down pat, i've got a formula and everything, takes me about 5 mins to perfectly align the front 8)

in 86 there were 2 engines, the BS (carbed) and the BT (MPFI) Basically the same thing as an A20A1 and an A20A3.

The bt also came carbed. It depends on the model of 3rd gen. accord. lx-(Bs engine) and dx-(Bt engine) are carbed. lx-i is fuel injected. The bs and bt were only in accords for 86 and 87. Then they switched to A-series.

are you serious? is it a dx, lx or lx-i? I need a few parts for my car so let me know. I need the passenger side front fender, the interior cover piece for the sun roof, the trim piece around the lock/unlock button on the driver's side, a glove box since this one falls out. I'll let you know what else I find that I need.

I said you could have the car, not pick what you want off it and me ship it. :P It's an LX, I believe. It has the 2.0 12 valve MPFI motor and a working air conditioning system. That ---- is cold as ----. Come get it fucker.

how long will this car be available? you reminded me that I need a new blower motor and possibly new ac setup since the car doesn't blow me at all. I'm thinking I might go by, pick up the ---- I need, then park the car in a desert somewhere.

Since the car is registered in my sisters name, I would have to kill you if you did that, but feel free to come pick it up and tow it home. ;)
