Bikes
Just got a 98 ZX6R. Got a really good deal on it, so I jumped at the opportunity. Any opinions on upgrades/gear/sites? Want to make an attempt at not killing myself, so I'm gonna stick to residential streets/non-highways for a week or 2.

and dont ride with anyone crazy till YOU get the hang of it, in the first year of owning a bike or first 8000 miles is when you more likely to get hurt or killed., have fun though >:D pics/vids? |

Re: Bikes
Get a good lid for starters, i wouldnt wear anything less than an arai or shoei. You cant really put a price on your head! Oh, and get leathers, 1 or 2 piece suit prefferably armoured where it counts. Good gloves and boots are just as important as the suit. However, If you like the idea of skin grafts and broken bones then wear sneakers jeans and a coat.
Good luck |

this calls for a ghost rider vid.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ud_gXPCMUDw So tempting to just blow a tax refund on a bike down payment..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2V8v...eature=related My hero. I think i need one of these. Hell, everyone else in town that's a speed junkie that's too poor to afford a fast car has a gixxer, busa, or cbr with a long ass swingarm and the loudest ----------ing exhaust you've ever heard. I want to get into it. Maybe i should. |

Good luck sure it's not a tier 1 name brand helmet. but it exceeds all of the Dot requirements BY ALOT and it fits feels good on my head. it's well constructed good ventilation. keeps air pressure away from my face and it hold my head snug. but find something in good quality. don't buy crap. |

most old school mid-late 90's 600' Street bikes averagely performed deep 11's with Heavy steel frames and Carburated side drafts. You can only imagine what an improved aluminum frame, Fuel injected and better built engine can do today. almost all the new 600's can do high 10's out the box today. |

Re: Bikes
The G-model is the same as the F-model except for the body work and it has K-TRIC. The exhaust systems weigh in at like 48lbs. Drop that and go with a light-weight Muzzy's (19lbs) jet the carbs and get a K+N filter.
A GT2542RS would be a nice addition too. |

2) Bikes will scare some sense into you. You are not going to hop on one and ride hard without some survival instinct kicking in. 3) Bikes are ----- magnets EVERYWHERE, in every city, county, state, country. Not just your town. 4) Please die in an industrial accident. ^-^
