In panama I rented a scooter that couldn't keep up with traffic. I thought I was going to die everytime a bus or some other large vehicle came by as I'd have the speedometer wrapped at a wopping 35k and have to move onto the berm with all the random *** potholes and ----. I can't see ever willingly putting myself in that situation riding a bike on the road in the US.

So you guys cant pass a bike You can pass at 2 feets beside, the cyclist is not going to jump on your car for fun.

How do you expect to win at the track if you can't pass a bike?

When they're in the road and you're on a 2 lane or busy street, you don't have much room to maneuver around them.

If you want to ride a bike, go for it, but there ARE groups out there who instigate these situations on purpose, and they should be run over.

Oh, and the greatest American athlete of all time is your mom when I lay back and put her on autopilot.

I had a friend back home that used to drive around with his windshield washer squirters pointed sideways. When ever he saw a cyclist, he'd pace them and hit the washer button. Funny ----, but one time we had this ------- chase us for like 12 blocks. We hit some traffic (on a summer day) and this guy was right on our *** for a minute. He was furious that his spandex were all wet. ------- ******.
