I can see it right now 1 guy getting married, 10 guys standing around the parking lot and drinking pointing out how thing should be done, 10 more guys in the parking lot doing the installs. lol.

Congrats Paul, Hope she is different than all the other girls because in some cases, once you put that ring on its like a ------- padlock for her vagina.

Man you all have some pretty negative views about being married for a bunch of single guys :l

My wife's ring cost me $3400 and it was worth every penny, also I'm not sure where you get this idea that sex no longer happens when you're married? granted my wife and I couldn't have sex until we were married, but it's been a great year and it's only getting better.

Besides that, she's great with money and we both are on the same page about it, so that's not a problem. To me the biggest problem is people don't talk about their ideas of what marriage is supposed to be before they get married, then they marry and both expect the other one to be the perfect spouse, not gonna happen.

Although it's true we don't have kids yet (hopefully another 3 years) and I hear that tends to kill the sexlife quite a bit :'(

The problem is people being selfish and not wanting to give in a little, just to please or help the other.

Once you start fighting about stupid things, one of you has to let it go, if not it will be hell.

If you both work together in wanting it to work, it would be a lot better. If you don't want to settle in and live with someone else for the rest of your life, then think about it and don't commit before you are sure it is what you want.

It could be the best thing that ever happens to you, just remember, don't be selfish and stupid, think about what she wants first, make her happy, and she will make you happy.

Congrats....and damn those rings are expensive..........

i live my one rule, if shes not happy, im not happy, no matter what the situation, it always boils down to that, haha. naaahh I've def thought about it for a while now and know what I am doing... im def excited about it, I just gotta wait till next friday for the ring to come in
