best way to catch a mouse?
 

i saw a mouse down here earlier, whats the best way to guarantee the highest possible success rate of trapping it, without waiting around with a shotgun? i have more important things to do than wait for it, so i got some victor traps and tweaked the trigger pad/rod to set off at light touch, instead of the heavier stock pressure. ill post with pictures when caught

take a ice cream bucket, put a stick leaning up against as a ramp, with the tip hanging over the center of the bucket. take a much smaller/lighter stick and lay it on top of the long stick/ramp with a little bit of peanut butter on the end of it. Mouse walks up the ramp to get the peanut butter, the small stick acts like a teeder toder and the mouse falls in the bucket when he tries to get the peanut butter. fill bucket half full of water for drownage(optional)

Glue trap with a big scoop of peanut butter in the middle. Thats how we catch these damn iraqi mice.

That's how we got the two we had in our house. Pretty much anything trap with peanut butter though also work. ---- that cheese ----. PB is where it's at. 8)

im thinkin about the glue trap. sounds fun. i think ill set my webcam up to light trigger record to catch the fucker in the act when i get gluetraps

Iv' been hearing the weirdest sound in last couple weeks. Sounds like a tapping / sometimes rubbing sound inside the wall. Thought it was a possum then saw a fuking big mouse/rat at night time cruizing along the fence.
Guessing it lives of the parrot food that gets dumped when waterblassting the cage >:D
I'm gona try that trap tonight!

that ---- works perfect. I used a plastic smooth walled small trash can, basically anything they can't jump or crawl out of.

if you're worried about being humane, glue traps basically torture the thing to death, but I hear they work pretty well.

A piece of double quarter pounder with cheese wedged in the trap.

Yes im ------- serious. I used to work in a warehouse and we would catch 1 lbs rats every other day.

Id box them up, and put electronics stickers on the box and leave them out on the street at lunch and watch people pull up and drive off with them. WIsh i was there to see the look on their faces when they think they scored something.

mice reproduce like ever 30 days, its crazy. if you see one, you prob have about 20. mice dont hang out by them selves. there actually smart animals who evolve and work systematically.

---- that ----. I just leave a big bag of Doritos, empty on the floor. Left a few crumbs in the bottom. Went to bed, then when the little bastard went in the bag, the crunching bag woke me up. Flipped on the light and looked in the bag. Little shithead was in the bottom. Closed the bag up and threw the fucker across my yard to seal the deal. :4
