It's the American way. :6

My goal is to be one of those "homeowners" and be out of any other type of debt within the next 12 months. With the economy taking a fat ---- right now, house prices are dropping and I'm going to buy at the bottom of the ---- pile. :6

When I went to buy another bike I had cash to put down and they said money down didn't matter. It's a -0- down type of thing and if you want to "put money down" you can just make a really big first payment. I really didn't understand why, but whatever. :l

I'm not sure what kind of a loan you're thinking about getting for this? You're not just going to walk into a bank and ask for a personal loan of $5000 with no credit or equity. Chances are the bike dealer is going to have their select couple of finance companies(Most likely GE money bank or HSBC)and the "loan" you're getting is going to be a credit card type of loan. It's revolving, meaning they ---- you in the ass on interest. I got 0% interest for 6 months and 19% for the rest of my life and I had perfect credit at the time. :l

mines through hsbc too, theywouldn't go lower than 14% >:(

Move to Southern Indiana. Interest rates right now are pretty damn low, and where I live 70k gets u a decent house.
