Best software or cd's for learning different languages

Anyone here learning foreign languages. Know of good programs for computer or listen to on cd. Its getting hard to do my job because all the people i work with are Chinese and only one is fluent in English and he is leaving soon. So i am mainly interested in learning mandarin.

I hear rosetta stone is the best, but the torrent I tried didn't work. Whenever I realize I don't speak gook I just make ---- up. They'll always smile and say "yeah". :6

The gf prefers to play generic german lessons into headphones while she sleeps, she didn't care much for rosetta stone.

None of the rosetta stone lessons are terribly complex, but they approach the same lesson from a variety of different aspects so they suit any learning style. You can even mix and match some of the aspects at the same time. Well thought out juarez.

She got another black belt last night. If you can convince her, you go bro, but be aware she might give you another ass dent to make you symmetrical.

So so. She has no one to actually speak German to but her vocabulary is quite large.
