valvoline 40 weight to go is the only way to go. $1.80 per quart. Mobil one is tooo expensive. Personally, if i had the money, I would go with Redline oil.

well, i use denzo iridium plugs .4mm laser tapped. i think those plugs work better than ngk. what would be the difference in redline and mobile 1.

I use Valvoline Max Life 10w40, change it every time my head gasket blows. It usually looks pretty fresh. I also use NGK V-Power plugs and it makes no difference. I just like them. They keep turning orange. Not like bright orange, but they don't really look brown. Like a tan-orange. Yeah, whatever.

If you are using regular castrol in your motor or quaker state you should do an engine treatment about every third time you change the oil. these oils leave waxy deposits in the engine and that is not good since this will cause friction which causes power loss. also if you have an older engine i would recomend that you not change to sythetic because it can clean up any deposits in the engine that might be preventing leaks from occuring. i would recommend any valvoline or mobil 1 if you are going with big name brands. also in my engine i always put a bottle of lucas oil stabilizer in my car every oil change. That ---- is ------- terrific. That is about it im going to go drink a beer and stroke it ....be back in five.....ok 2 and a half
