I ran motor oil for awhile. Picked up Pennzoil Synchromesh and dumped 2 quarts in today. However, Honda says 1.8 or something will fill it. Well there was a TON of .2 synchromesh that didn't want to stay in. :P I have yet to drive the car because no turbo and all, but what's everyone think about it? It's in a gear oil container, but isn't as thick as I thought it was going to be.

honda mtf=FTW

people with the 1030w crap......all honda tranny guys will tell u oem MTF fluid is always best.....i mean don't u think those guys that do millions of dollars worth of testing and formulating fluids for specific cars might get something right every once in awhile...atleast imo....honda will even tell u u can run 1030w oil but not over a long period of time...OEM FLUIDS = FTW

I like the Honda MTL, too, it's just 10W30 with a sulfur additive.

People using generic race MTLs meant for gear-oil lubricated transmissions... or the guy suggesting LSD additive (clutch or gear type?) if you have an LSD (clutch or gear type?) cracked me up a little.
