Re: best method for junking a car?
9" angle grinder FTW!!!
Chopped a sedan into pieces large enough for one person to carry, shoved it in the boot of my buddies hatch then drove to scrapyard and weighed it in. Stripped shells go for more than complete shells, because they don't have to worry about environmental pollution bullshit. |
Re: best method for junking a car?
I've always wanted to use a Demo Saw, with just an abrasive blade to demolish a car. It wouldn't take long at all. :6

Re: best method for junking a car?
90dx or anyone else. When you chopped the car up, did you bother removing the tank or anything else like windows or just cut str8 through? Buddy shafted me with his parts car and lost the title so no junk man around here's willing to pick it up. Theft is out of hand around here so i'd understand why they dont want to take the risk.

Or sneak up to a dumpster and throw everything in... but be careful of the $500 public dumping fine.
