So I'm at school today doing an alignment on my instructor's truck when my cell phone rings....the following conversation made my ------- week!!!! At my job that I started 5 1/2 weeks ago I get a shitty base rate + 10% commission on labor and 5% commission on parts.

My boss: Do you have your paycheck on you?
Me: No, why?
Boss: Well it looks like we fucked up and I wanted to make sure of it before I ran all this paperwork through.
Me: How did you ---- up?
Boss: Well, it looks like we have been paying you the part-time employee commission rate.
Me: Ok, so what does that mean?
Boss: That means that your next paycheck is going to be your base rate for 2 weeks, your proper commission for 2 weeks, and roughly $1200 in backpay.



------- AWESOME!!!!!!!! My christmas shopping is already done, and now on the 20th I've got an extra $1200 just sitting around. I may get my car done in a timely fashion now!

all I need to get the car driving is clutch, ECU, map sensor, and axles. Painting it is another story.

my TA is drivable, it just needs a new motor. it has a slight rod knock and im beginning to loss faith in it.

well, after mine runs, it's time for brakes, suspension, paint/body, finish roll cage, finish interior.....so it's a long way, but starting it will be a little victory

Nope, she's worse now. Some of the paint is the same, some of the car has been spray painted random colors, the pass rear quarter is sanded down of the original red, the hood is spray painted urban camo......it may have been "uggggly" in the past, now it's just straight up horrendous.
