Best Digital Camera?
 

Hey.. my digital camera took a crap on me and so I got pissed at it and threw it out the window. I need a new one.

I want to get another digital camera, with decent megapixels, video feature, and one that can use a memory card. I don't want to spend anything over $350 or so.

Anyone have any good ideas for a camera? Thanks for all help ;D

paid $100 for a good samsung one that has all the features you meantioned... Works great so far, and I use it a lot ( it is hell on batterys though, but my warehouse "sponsers" me with batterys, hehe ).

No audio on the videos..

we got my dad a HP photosmart 350 (i think it's a 350) for like 229$cdn. has video/usb hookup and all the crap u mentioned. got a 256mb card for 99 and it's also got audio w/ the video. lmk if u want example photo's.

I wouldn't mind some. I'm shopping/comparing.. I want a good one. My old one lasted a good two months and cost me $50, I knew it was a POS but I didnt think it was that bad. :-\

the one i use only cost me 20 bux and is 1.3 MP and doesnt use batteries cause it charges off of usb

also, installation on XP was literally PLUG IT IN.. nothing else, not even drivers.. but I added them to get the "extra's"

I just bought a 4.1 megapixel sony cybershot, it straight pwnz. I got the camera and a 128 MB chip for $266.23 with tax. it has video with audio and I took a picture of a plane today, so that means it's good.

I wanted something small (yeah funny :P) so I will actually bring it out and use it. I got a canon elph SD 110 3.2 megapixel with a 2.0x optical and a 4.4x digital zoom, videoes and a millions other options for 230US on egay. I also got a 512k card from compusa for 90 bucks.

I could have bought something bigger, but i would never bring it out and use it. This think fits in my pocket and takes pretty damn good pics.

I used to work for circuit city and i can tell you that sony is the best way to go. Get a newer sony with movie mode vx this alows you to do full screen mpeg movies without conversion. Sony also has cheap media and a but load of accesories. Another great thing about sony is that you know youll always be able to get replacement parts for it unlike other manufacturers like canon and hp which discotinue things after so long to force you to upgrade. Oh last but not least the newer sony cameras come with a lithium ion camcorder type battery so battery life will be great. For a more cost effective model look for the cybershot it shouldnt cost more than $350 for a 5 megapixel

best camera I ever owned. I practically carry it with me everywhere. But the top of the line ---- is always good, I bought the Sony Maciva when it first came out, the BIG one for a grand :o but that thing still works great til this day, the resolution is less than one megapixel I think, but the quality is pretty good, especially with the 10x OPITCAL xoom. And it's like a 5 year old camera, pimpin digital utilizing a floppy disk for memory. 8)
