beginer installing a turbo on his own
 
well hmt crew, thank you all for giving me the information on installing a turbo and a v-afc. the project will commince on monday my day off. i hope i have all the information to do this my self. if you have any tips for me..... things i should watch out for, please let me know. i will post my progression as i go along.

Good luck.. Do you think you understand what all the parts do? thats the most important thing. If you know what function everything has then you can figure just about anything out.

double check EVERYTHING before you start the car for the first time when its done. especially hoses. Use teflon tape on all threaded liquid connections.

make sure you take out your plug wires off your distributor and crank it over a bunch of times to get oil to the turbo.
dont want to destroy that turbo the first day right?

bad weather has been causing me delays. i will start the project hopefully sat night and finish sunday morning.

make sure your ------- drin is big enough!! 1/2"

yes use white teflon on all fittings.

o and make sure u got fuel management hehe

YEAH. i have the 1/2" drain line. vafc. profec b series II boost controller. t3 turbon with gsx side mount intercooler. greddy turbo timer. 3" full exhaust. i have no more money for a front mount intercooler. i'm trying to save for a camera so i can show you hmt crew.
