so maybe some of you remember that i was trying to get my prelude back from CT a while ago. basically, i scrapped that idea about 3 days ago. i was hardcore looking into it, also. but oh well, good things come to those who wait, i suppose.

so here was the plan: reclaim the lude and drop the k24a4 sitting in my garage into it. all the while knowing of most of the expensive custom parts needed. basically i said ---- it.

i keep hearing stories about how people get cars for ridiculously low prices and what not. i finally came upon one. 100 miles away from Vegas, in Kingman, AZ, some guy was selling an '88 dx hatch with a fucked motor. so i take the trip to check it out. driving in a straight line for about 70 miles ------- sucks, by the way. turns out, it is ------- perfect for my needs. the motor is fucked, the seats are ripped to ----, the fenders are all dented, the headlights are broken. the rest of the body is sweet. minor little dent on the drivers door, quarters are cool, taillights and hatch are immaculate, even comes with the cargo cover. he had a truck and a tow dolly so he towed it back to my house that night. cost me $84 for his gas. the civic, on the other hand. 200 ------- dollars. i could not pass it up.

so now i'm researching like crazy. saving and hoping for a reman'd 6 speed from the new Si or TSX. and it seems like i'll be getting most of everything else i need from Hasport. a lot of work ahead of me, but god damn i can't wait to get started.
