that is off of ticketassassin's website. So if you contest your citation you have a chance of losing your privilege to take traffic school? It seems that this quote is implying that the judge can deny you traffic school, thus leaving you fucked. Can someone elaborate on this if they have the knowledge.

I got a "drag racing on public highway" ticket. It was $90 and 4 points on my recond ( driving school not optional ).

I couldn't afford the points so I took it to court in hopes of getting a larger fine in exchange for less points on my record...
Results ??
Pay $180 court cost
Pay $90 ticket
manditory 12-hours driving school
AND the 4 points on my record !!!

Got a ticket for doing 95 in a 55.. Cop wrote $180 fine, and went to pay it, and they said " $280 please", so I took it to court. Result ??

Judge says " ok fine reduced to $180, plus $100 court fee" !!!

I'll just pay my fine and take the points !!! Not only did I get the shaft in both cases, but its a major PITA to go and sit in a ------- court house for 3 hours...
POS mother ******* !!!

Side note, both cases I was undoubtly guilty....

^see all the more reason for me to be concerned about that quote. I have a stupid ticket (unsafe left turn) and I want to fight it cause I don't want to waste traffic school on such a silly ticket, but I would rather pay the 2bills than be fucked like hunchback (sorry bruh).

Well since the ticket I'm assuming falls under reckless driving which I have 2 of in california you must appear in court. I was handed 2 points on my record and no chance of traffic school for both times. Fine was orginally like 900 but the judge lowered it too 300 or so if I remember right becasue I pleaded guilty without an argument. 5 is a trap got a ticket doin the same trip I'm from the Lancaster area and was driving up to Sacramento. Mostly likely will get points, no traffic school and a fine in my range if the judge isnt to ----.

MAN IN THE PAST month i got 2 tickets..one in Beverly hills by one of those automated red light pictures takers and i was crossing the intersection on a yellow and when it turned red as i passed through it took my pic.
and then 2 weeks later i got a ticket on the freeway by CHP for eccess of 65 MPH? what the ---- is that?

anyway i dont know what to expect other than to pay a ---- load of money.

is there a way to contest the one that was given to me by that ------- POS Speed tarp of a Camera in Beverly hills?

Just tell them that you needed to pee real bad and didn't know the area too well for gas stops...works charms for me...

Well first off make sure you even have to go to court, he could just be ------ with you cuz cops dont know ---- when it come to court. I got a ticket and it was a bitch CHP and she was telling me my courtday...it wasnt even the right date, so dont listen to them. Second Cali has a 3 strikes law so if they allow you take traffic school and then it cleans the point off your record. good luck
