Umm yeah '86...LOL
They were originally a hardcore band in the early 80's used to have a few 45's from around '83.

...and Ive seen OG star wars in the theater mind you...although it was a bargain replay a few years after the release

They need to represent after that piece of ---- hello nasty album. I was like 13 when check your head came out, and I went totally ape ---- over it. I still listen to the CD about once a month or so. They play a kick *** show too. I saw them at Lollapallooza (sp) back in 94 and at the electric factory in Philly in 99. If you get a chance to see them you will not be disappointed.

license to ill was an forever will be their best album, kind of like how the rolling stones should just turn into dust and blow away.

It seems to be that way with a lot of bands. Their first few albums rock, but then they start "experimenting" with their sound, and they go downhill (cough..Pearl Jam...cough..STP...cough cough). Sometimes they come back and sometimes they dont. I hope the beasties come back strong, b/c they know how to produce good music, they just chose to go into some loopy electronic ---- on hello nasty.

You wanna hear some old ---- get "Cooky Puss" and that has those punk songs on it from the early 80's when they had a girl in the group. It don't matter how old they are cause they still can rip ---- up and rap about good stuff instead of money girls and killing ----. Rap nowaday sucks. Thanks god for the Beastie Boys.

Cooky Puss is pretty funny, and the songs are pretty good.

I got a chance to half *** listen to the CD last night. I can tell you off the bat that it is better than Hello Nasty, but I havent had time to really sit there and listen to it.
