90% of the time your first one will die way prematurely because you did somethign wrong. just do a TON of research, i bought 3-4 books before i bought my iguana and my first one died in a year, its life not much youcan do about it.

once you find out what they like and dont like it is the lowest maintenece pet you can have

not specifically for dragons but i do have a general reptial book along with my iguana books.
go to a real pet store, NOT Petsmart, and if they dont have any books for you they can order them

i had 2 bearded dragons from when they were small 2inchs to a foot they are really cool . they eat a shitload and it adds up i was buying 1000s of crickets online every week and kept them in a trashcan . all they need is food, uv lighting , and for you to check up on water, and hold it .i had mine for 2 years then sold them..

I "had" two Iguanas but we lost one in last years hurricanes. First hurricane blew the door off her cage in very mild winds. Second hurricane she got loose and havent seen her since. The little one Larry, as you can see is about 16" but much more now. He was about 1 1/2 years old there. The big one Lizzy, we had for 3 years but we dont know her age. She was a rescued Iguana from a dog attack. Very scarred up and missing a good 3/4 of her tail. My oldest one who was 14 died a few years back. He was a monster at just over 6 feet. I wish I had more pics of him. Beardeds are cool but not as friendly and lovable as an Iguana. Yes iggys can and do show affection. Trainable too!
