so today iwent to pass 2 cars on the highway. so i down ---- into 3rd, i'm passin, go for 4th but mis shift to 2nd. SO yeah i'm an idiot. But then my battery light comes on and won't go off. and so night time comes and now i have no low beams??? i'm not sure though about the lights cause the switch feels sorta funny. but my highbeams still work. should i just try and charge my battery and see what happens?

check your alternator belt. Or the wires going to it. ;)

Ah, the old third to second... my cousin did that and had three engines because of it ;)

Something electrical might be f'd up. But might as well charge your battery and start from there.
