And he was shifting low and running in 4/5th because it was his first time out in the car and on that track (which has alot of very metal walls, very close to the track... everywhere) and his instructor had him using the power slowly. That wasn't a track to just get in and go ***** out at (watkins glen) just so many places to fubar your car.
Hell my instructor/friend almost balled my car up in the bus-stop.
Oh and I was the only car in group 1/2 he didn't pass
Then again, we never saw each other on track after I passed him the first session when he was also working on the line.And to those that have seen the car and know the stats, it is a VERY nice setup. He really put the car together well, I was very impressed.
