Bad ass home network audio programs?

Ho kay, I need a program like iTunes that would let a computer control the player and volume on another computer on the network. We have a central computer hooked up to the stereo system and I want to be able to control what that computer plays from my laptop anywhere in the house (wireless). Anything like this exist?

ps I turn 21 tonight. Wish me luck

Use VNC and you can control anything on the other computer, including any audio program you desire.

I use TightVNC, really small and works great. Happy birthday nog.

Happy birthday trick bitch!!

Only thing I could suggest to you is PC Anywhere. Works great for controlling a second computer.

Windows XP Pro?

If so, just enable RDP and call it a day.
