dam, i just got my car broke into and some ---- stolen.

i learned from watching other roommates having that happen so that i put theft coverage on my car. the only good thing, but even then they are trying to give me as little money as possible.

its the wierdest feeling in the world and most unique to walk out to what you used to have, and you used to spend time on and realize that in a short period of time, all that work and all that money you spent is gone.

jeff,
that really sucks about all your stuff. get some renter's insurance.. wait a little more than a month, and break your garage door when you are gone for a weekend (but not really be gone) and file a report.. doing it too soon, you have to have like a month after you add it for them to be able to claim it. so adding it, and having it happen the next weekend will definately cause you probs

good luck with getting the person that did this

post a write up on 'how to ---- people up for jacking your ---- hmt style'

I know a guy who had a brand new Civic, not even a week old and he side swiped another guy(my roommate) and wrecked his front end pretty bad. He didn't have insurance at the time. The next day he went down and got full coverage insurance. The day after he filed a claim and they paid for both cars to get fixed. Not something I would recommend, but still........

i've done the same thing, it does work. i bought 2 brand new 400ex's back in 01, they were both stolen 3 weeks later from my back yard. i put insurance on them and waited 30 days and reported them, insurance paid for it :-\
