back from the track?? whats ur best 1/8th mile times on turbo setups???
 

i was jus wondering if it was just me and my bogging out through first gear or is it seriously kinda hard to run a decent time on 1/8th mile... jus the fact that boost tends to lag a bit and when it lags u lose precious time on the stupid 1/8th mile. it feels so ------ short and i coulnd't even touch a 9 second pass... i was getting all pissed and kept crankin the boost or tryin to launch at higher rpm but nothing worked :-\ so can anyone post there 1/8 mile times off ur slips... jus curiuos and wanting to compare

i figured everyone hated it but it's the closest track to me. i know all you guys run quarter mile but i know on ur time slips it shows the 1/8th time... show me!

as much as i love being a smart ass and a dickhead to everybody, i fear sccaeg has a point here, in that 1/4 mile timeslips will show 1/8 mile time :P (that is, if anybody in that thread posted their entire time slip)

Out of the three timeslips I have here, my best 1/8 mile was 9.042 @ 81.48mph. That 60' time was 2.320

If I went to a 1/8 mile track and ran a 7, I really wouldn't know what that meant. :-\ It's like saying I hit 200 kph today. WTF is that? :D

i agree stealth, thats why when people were like "why are u losing and ur turbo" im like "its a ------ 1/8th mile"... by the time my shits boosting and i start pulling the track is over... i was getting hella pissed cuz stupid frissy people who dont kno ---- about cars jus say "hah u lost" when they dont even undnerstand the conditions... one thing i was able to laff at that nite was an rsx type s... he kept talkin ---- to everyone sayin he was gonna beat everyone but he was running shittier times then me and im lagging off the line.. someone show me how to get to a 1/4 mile track with the rest of u guys... ill drive far if i need to 1/8 mile sux... or jus catch me on the street :D
