I was wainting for you to chime in too.....

Tell your brother i'll sell him my old blown transmission. He can then get new gears in there, RA spec or better, and swap it before the old one goes.....No down time.....

Good luck those trannies are absolute ----. My friend is heading up a national class action lawsuit against Subaru.

I heard that if you keep it under 300whp then the tranny and pistons can handle it.

You got the knee surgery ehh...

What did they end up doing again? I was walking in about 2 weeks, had a full out brace on.
after the first week take the brace off and slowly keep adding pillows under your knee and let gravity pull your leg down. It will hurt like a bitch but you gottta start stretching it....---- it makes me cringe thinking about it.

(unless you had some sort of cartlige repair)

Yep, that's what they did. Repaired the interior meniscus in my left knee. Hurts a lot, but the percoset they prescribed for me is too dang strong. I can't work while using it, and I don't like the way it makes me feel.

The engine can handle 350 and 22psi fine, the tranny....nope....I made mine last about 2 years, maybe 1 year with the mods, I poped 2nd and 3rd. Replaced it with a 2005 Forester 2.5turbo one. These are stronger and can handle 350 fine.

Your tranny will blow up...specially if you don't know how to drive AWD cars. If you think you can pop the clutch and go, you are in trouble. I still have my old one, want it?I'll sell it cheap, then you can buy a set of STi RA-spec gears for around $1500 that will fit on this tranny. Then you can sell you good stock tranny before blowing it up for $2g's.
