AHHH you mean you came up to western NC and didnt even tell me or Joseph?

Yeah the dragons fun, but theres getting to be WAY too many ppl on that road at any given point in time.
Other twisty roads of interest in WNC

us HWY 74 to lake lure
Hwy 9 from chimney rock to black mountain
paint fork rd.
parkway(if you just wanna cruise)
hwy 28
nanahala gorge
Hwy 80 north and south
ceasars head hwy 276 (one of my favs)

And the ever-dangerous 151 which has claimed many a supra and 240, most bikers wont even look at it. I think its close to 150 turns in less than 5 miles, mostly hairpins and switchbacks.

For anyone who doesnt know what we're talking about....
Its a stretch of road with about 318 turns in 11 miles.

Yeah its one bad motha. Lots of cool roads in the surrounding areas too. About 20min from Gatlinburg which kicks *** in itself.

---- when we were up there sunday the dragon was deserted. There were a couple cruisers riding every now and then but the cops practically shut that bitch down. People were getting tickets for all kinds of stupid ----, 31 in a 30, no safety glasses, liscence plates not mounted right.

Weird, last time I was up there (bout 40min from my door) you could fly past the cops on the limiter and they wouldnt budge, must have cracked down or something

i can understand why they are going all ****, tho. i mean, they are saving lives in the sense that you wont have any stupid people(mostly kids) getting all F&F up there. im a pretty good driver, but i know my limits, i learned the hard way on that one. 90 mph on a 30 mph turn doesnt work out so well

i dunno, im from the northwest, and i havent seen too many highways like the one you guys are talking about

Killboy hosted Harry and I on his Faves Page.

Great shot of the MR2. One of my favorites.
