Default Back in the Domestic world

I havn't had a V8 or a domestic since my first couple cars. Oldsmobiles.

Picked this up on Sunday for $800. This is my new winter driver. Little rough on gas, but it is nice to just run ---- over rather than wondering if it will tear your car apart.

Had to de-rice the thing already. Scraped off some vinyls on the back window. The purple tint is going. There was a white grill insert and white light covers on it too. Damn punk kids.

1988 Chevy 1500, 5.7L V8, 2wd

My E350 is over here waiting for you beeitch.

The truck is nice though. I was surprised at how much I like the stripped down nature of it. It's 100% and 0% yuppie bullshit.

Damn $800? that thing looks pretty cool. Not a truck guy myself but I'd pimp it if you paid for gas.

Got up to 19 today, so I took her through the wash. Wheels are in good shape.

How many miles? What year is it also? I had a tank of a car as a second car, 1985 Chevy Caprice, 305 4barrel th700r4, 168k miles, $500. Man that thing was a beast. It'd be a heck of a nice winter beater now

It is a 1988. It has 151K on it. Newer trans though. Had all the vehicle history. It was a Florida truck up til about 3 years ago. So it isn't too bad for rust. Just the wheel wells on the bed, but the cab end is great.
