b18b into 94 civic........long(i apologize)

you must use an air hammer, or other means to beat the hell out of the sub-frame so the altenator will spin freely. using an older trans, i had to use the shift linkage off of an 89 teg. this ---- took forever due to the person who owned this motor before. be careful when you buy ---- on ebay. after using moratic acid to eat the surface rust on the cylinder walls, getting the head shaved was 9.2-1, now 10.2-1, robbed the head off of a b18a1(head on ebay swap had 2 bent valves), and the trans. off of a b18a1(ebay swap had hole in housing)the bitch started up on the first try.

WTF, I just helped with a B16/EG swap about 3 weeks ago, we had no problems what so ever. The only thing we even used air on was getting the axles out. (THAT BIG ------- NUT) Are you sure you know what the hell your doing?!? Poor civic. Only EF's man.

Its a 100% bolt in swap which involves no air hammering. You definitely have something screwed up.

yes i know what the hell i am doing, and i am sorry but i had to push back some of the sub-frame. and the stock mounts where used. i think that because i used the trans off of a b18a1, the mounts on the b18b1 are different... anyway, the damn thing started up on the first try..
