B18 B16 valve cover ?
 

Ok heres my question. My gf is going for show not go. Whatever shes a ------- ricer but she wants a car that looks nice instead of being fast. Anyways, We all know that normal b18a/b valve covers are plain and black. Shw wants one kinda like the Type r valve cover thats red and that says DOHC on it. My question, CHould ya get a b16 valve cover and grind down the vtec part and paint it with some wrinkle red and have it look good at all, Will the b16 valve cover even fit? i know im setting myself open for flaming cuase of this bullshit question but shes trying to make her engine bay look flashy.

VTEC valve covers are diffrent from non-VTEC ones. so if she has a b18a/b the b16 VC wont fit the b18 head and vice versa

thats all i needed to know, I always thought that b16 vlave covers whouldnt fit on ls motors either but i saw on ebay they sell them and they say they whould work for b18 and 16 but they may have been talking about the gsr motor

i've got a spair b18a vc that i'll sell it to you cheap if you want something to experiment around with without ------- up your good vc cover.

i don't know, let me get a quote on shipping it tomorrow and i'll get back with you, i'll take 15 plus shipping for it if you want, the paint on it is all chipping off and it's dirty, but if your planning on stripping it and painting it, that doesn't matter ;).
