B-series transmissions. need help with price ranges.
hello everyone. i'm currantly in a look out for a tranny for my b16. i'm from israel so i dont know the US price ranges for used B-serise transmissions, i dont know yet which one i want, but the price will be a major factor. thanks for any help... |

How much are you looking to spend? If you're looking for any old tranny look for the b18 non vtecs, they're probably the cheapest...

90-93 cable s1/a1/j1/ys1/y1 250-1000 depending on which and if it has lsd 94+hydro atleast 500+ |

you can find them cheaper if you look around for a while. A hydro B tranny from someone on one of these sites is probably going to go for more than it should. Are they not available at all to you over there? A few years ago I sold a b18a1 longblock and tranny for like $300 plus shipping. you just have to look around i guess. I am retarded though.

i got my 92 LS swap for $1200 delivered w/ a 12mo/12k mile warranty, i dont see spending more then $250 on an LS cable trans, maybe a little more for a 92-93 just for parts interchange abilities.
LS swaps are pretty common in my area, you can find b18a longblocks in decent shape for around $400. |
