B-series rods in D??!?
I was reading through some setups and this guy was saying he wanted B-series Rods in his D, Is this even possible? I've never heard of it before but if so it'd be sweet since i have a coupple junk integra's all with ls motors but hell those rods are hella strong compared to my shitty D15b7's. Let know, thanks alot.

Re: B-series rods in D??!?
d16s can use ls rods if they are rebushed.

Re: B-series rods in D??!?
Or not rebushed, with GX or custom piston.
There's a writeup in the Tech Forum, y0, stickied right at the top. |
Re: B-series rods in D??!?

Re: B-series rods in D??!?
Rod is 3mm too long for D15.

Re: B-series rods in D??!?
damn thanks thats what I wanted to know, theres no pistons made that could shorten the stroke 3mm?
|
Re: B-series rods in D??!?
just put a set of pistons on a belt sander and take off 3mm material, good to go :6

Re: B-series rods in D??!?

Re: B-series rods in D??!?
Not off the top of my head.
Search the length difference between B16 rods and D15 rods. I dunno much about either from hands-on or research, but that might get you closer to the mark. |
