How tha hell did you make it to the ripe age of 30 somethin' without having already seen that?? What is your major malfunction, ********??!! There was a time when I could quote damn near half that movie word for word. It never gets boring, some ppl just don't get it. ------' classic...

Personally, I think the movie is better after they get to Nam. I guess after going through basic it's not all that cool.

That movie and Hamburger Hill kept me from wanting to join the military. Besides I was an Amry Brat for 17yrs. that was enough.

Full metal jacket was almost as good as Patton yeah.
