AV gurus, whats the difference in these CRT HDTVs?
 

Both of the HDTV's are the same price, same brand, and same size, but different model numbers. If some of you AV gurus would ring in on which one to buy that would be great. They both are CRTs so i know I will not get great quality, but i still want the best one of the two.


RCA 52" CRT Projection HD Monitor R52WM24

and

RCA 52" Widescreen Projection HDTV, HD52W59

the R52WM24 is better, it has better tubes

I wouldn't buy either one personally, save money till you can afford an lcd or dlp, but if you set on a HDTV under 1000 out of thsoe 2 dude is right the R52 has better tubes.

rear projection is not the way to go.. get a smaller tv and go with a lcd.. if you have to get a 50" wait till you can afford dlp like kuroko said.

Would definately wait for led/lcd/dlp projection. Anything but rear crt projection, so old school. Samsung makes great dlps. I would say LCoS but it's still kinda pricey.
