its not like autozone manufactures their own starters and parts for ever single type of car!

maybe you keep puttin the ---- on their wrong. or you just have bad luck


are you buying rebuilt parts? maybe they do shotty jobs on them. brand new parts should be fine

Yeah my dad has had to replace 2 starters from autozone (lifetime warranty also) for his caravan... I stay away from cheap *** parts esp for imports (read:HONDAS) honda parts cost more but its not worth the headache in most instances.

the only parts autozone sells are rebuilt. even worse... right before i pull up to autozone, my alternator all of a sudden starts working fine again. i had the dude come out and test my car anyways though. it tested fine. he said come back when it starts acting up again. yes, i have very shitty luck.

The AutoZone here sells ALL the ricer ----. They have everything. Seriously, they have all that ---- you see in the commercial except for the body kits, but I'm sure you can order those. It's disgusting. Everytime I go in there I feel like they are trying to push me to buy rice, when I just want a gasket or something stupid. Pretty soo they will only sell rice. It takes up two HUGE isles right now. You would not believe. This explains why the ****/car clubs in this town don't know what a performance mod is.

Dude, no really. Since I put the Fast and The Furious brand LED lighted 27" tip on my clamp on muffler and added the same graphics kit everyone in town bought, I'm running a 10 second 1/4 mile. You know, I live my life a 1/4 mile at a time :-)

you have to paint your drums so they don't rust. they usually come coated with some ---- so they don't rust in storage but it will melt away. clean it off with CRC brakeleen and paint away. also, I think you might be having a problem with whatever grounds your engine to the body because the alternator and starter ground through the engine but that needs a solid electrical connection to the body and battery.
