My words of advice are..

Get there early and expect to stay the entire day.

Clean your car before you go. dont want cups and stuff flying around while your racing.

Make sure you sign up to work the track.

get ready for one hell of a good time.

Wish it was warm enough here to star but that wont happen till march.

I'm hoping to run at Watkin's Glenn this spring. My buddy's got a full race Datsun 510 and he talked me into doing it. Your going to have a blast and good luck, don't ---- your ---- up.

AutoX is great! Been doing it for about four months in my Rex. Just hit the top of the novice group for GS. Next it will be GS/ST2.

I always have a great time.

My suggestion is to sign up for one of the driver training sessions. You get a ton of seat time, and to learn from your local experts about driving. They ride with you, and will even drive your car while you ride along. It last the whole day, and is totally worth it.

just dont get discouraged by your first run, as with all racing, that was my biggest problem. your first day will be on big heaping pile of progression, and you'll never drive your car the same again

A lot of people on jbody.org do this.... I've thought about it but wondered if its really that enjoyable with an auto trans.....

Maybe sometime I'll do it, I need a drop first though

How did that srt-4 do? Those things handle pretty well from what I've heard.

i think he did pretty good, i didn't look at any ones times except for the one in my class. it sure did sound sick though!

i need some one to host the video, i registered for a free trial for a website, and after 30 mins of waiting for it to upload, the mother fucker was too big :P

yeah, that 'mazda miata' is actually called a 'unos' or 'yunos roadster' or some ---- in japan. they guy was pretty cool (some old guy, retired marine or navy or something). there are only two rhd 'miata's' in the states. it's actualy his daily driver. that sticker in the upper windshield corner was the inspection sticker from japan! that's jdm yo ;D

i have the video ready, but i'm trying to send it to mary and it won't let me send it through the firewall at work. then i was going to send it to her on yahoo, but the firewall won't even let me log on to messenger. then i changed it from '.mov' file to '.txt' file to try to send it to her via email again, and it's stopping up my outlook :P my internet/cable at the house is turned off b/c i'm moving this weekend, so i don't know when i'll be able to get it up, unless any one (onyx) has any other suggestions on how to send a video through a bitch ass of a firewall :-\
