can spray paint be cleared over with somthing better then clear spray paint like automotive paint clear?

painted by bike camo with rattle cans and im trying to think of a way to protect it

seran wrap works just fine

dude if your convinced it looks fine then just mask over everything... and i mean everything.. then take it to an autobody shop and tell em to clear coat it for ya.. they should have plenty of clear coat instock.. offer em 200 bucks for 2 coats of clear/wetsand/polish the whole 9 yards

Yeah, it will work, but use the same brand as your paint. Don't try to clear coat Tremclad antirust, it doest work

it depens somtimes it bubles up like crazy some kind of chemical reaction you cant mix all paits and clears..

just match the paint types, you can't use enamel paint with poly urethane clear etc

i used krylon spray paint. the bodywork is all off the bike
