Re: auto cad installation help

Well if its a bootleg version then its possible the rip is ----. Other than that its probably something simple you need from mycrosoft. Who knows what that particulaR file could be. If you got it from a torrent then check the download page and see what everyone else said.

Inventor 11, Solidworks, I did have a copy of Katia(Speling) but lost it!!

Re: auto cad installation help

I have an associates in cad, been useing autocad for the past 10 years. Currently do civil engineering useing autocad and microstation. The error that your running into when you try to install it is a very common error with bootleg stuff (All i ever get now adays, to cheep to pay for crap). Copy the burnt cd to your hard drive and eith re-burn it or mount it in a virtual cd-rom and install it from our hard drive.

Re: auto cad installation help

acually that wa not an error from "bootleggin.
my .netframe work has been giving me some issues for a while now it just took me a little while to put two and two together! If if you look at the task bar, the one with the time you will see that I have deactivated the auto updates and firewall. so after i uninstalled the 2.0 frame work and reinstalled it magically everything worked great.

p.s. while I was attending drafting, 95% had some version of a/c at home to facilitate in the learning at home. the autocad was not a requirement but, a person would struggle in class if he or she could not get the program.
