ATTN: VA MD DC DE and southern PA people

Crazy ray's Pick n Pull is loaded with goodies (both locations)

went to get a new headlight this morning and ended up getting an Eaton blower from a 3800 riviera for $75

anyways, the Jessup MD location had numerous turbo cars untouched by scoundrels like us and a bunch of complete F long blocks, almost every car had teh ECU taken
2-3 complete f22 v-tecs
5+ f22 non-vtec
2 2.3t turbo saab's w/ garrett turbos (didnt check size)
1 740 (i think) turbo volvo
a 1g teg with a d16a1 w/ ecu
there were a few turbo caravans/voyagers, didnt check if the snails were there though
an early 80's ?? benz t-diesel, it was a garrett turbo but quite small
there was another blower but some ass hole didnt know how to take it out and unbolted the case (dont know the implications of this so i went for the other one)
there were tons of neons w/ dohc engines

and the Mt Airy location had tons of engines and Ecu's
4 d16z6's (most were auto) w/ ecu's
1 d16y7 w/ ecu
3-4 P06 ecu's
4-5 DA tegs w/ complete swaps (some were auto)
2 DC tegs one was missing the trans but both had intact longblocks
and a 91 hatch with good rear seats fenders hatch and tails, and now only the passenger head light :6
i didnt go through the domestics cause it was snowing and i was covered in mud

suprisingly neither location had a single CRX.

Ouch, 5 hr drive. Snag those ECU's if they're cheap enough.

thats odd, crazy rays doesnt usually even know what they have in the yard, and they dont charge that much for a bumper. less than $50 if a remember correctly

they have set prices on parts

ecu $25
turbo $50
long block (no accesorries) $175
short block $100
blower $75

pretty cheap to me

Jessup is 10 minutes away from where I live Marcus. I know exactly what place you're talking about too, and the last time I went there for a rear drum hub for my old crx they told me $125. :P I don't go there anymore. :X

I've actually bought bumpers from crazy rays, if you pulled it by yourself it's about $40. They are pretty cheap if you do it by yourself.

from the info they have on thier site and posted at thier location they dont pull anything, except for engines. and even then they just use a forklift after you have everything ready

Re: ATTN: VA MD DC DE and southern PA people

They pull other things too, but you have to physically stop in and ask them to. They suck big time, won't even let you go through the yards to see what's there.

125 for a rear drum...thats not crazy rays thats the other place next to it, its not a pick n pull

crazy rays is hit or miss, your not going to find many new cars in there but ls's and d16's are all over the place

I never said it was crazy ray's...I was talking about a place up near me after Marcus mentioned Jessup.
