H-T had one for $2500 with new top on it and bunch of new parts. Gray and black '91 with 125,000 ticks on it.

damn are miatas that expensive. i can pick one up for less than 2,000 if you give a little look in the neighborhood. i always see them sitting in yards or in the back of shops and rarely see one on the streets here(mustangs rule this town) even the auto trader here can post a few for 2199

Show me how else to make three to four times stock power output in a Miata, without nose-heavy V8 swaps, and still pass OBD2 scantool emissions. Retaining the OBD2 ECU is not an option, and the car will be so divergent from stock that putting it back to stock on a yearly basis to have it inspected is not an option.

1992 MX-5 stock is 116 HP, you want 350-400 hp.

Easy, OBD2 even.

Next project.
