That's an internal IP. Ask him to get the Internet IP from his router/server. Or Abaz won't be able to check if his IP is blocked.

Actually that happens to me once in a while. I think in the late afternoon / evening traffic is VERY high here. Usually 25+ users and guests on top of that. I find that I can only view 3 clicks b4 i get timed out. logon, go to general forums, click on a topic and thats it, times out. I'm too far away

tell leed to hit the start button. then click Run. in the run menu type in "cmd" for win 2000 and up(type in "command" for windows 95-9then click "ok".
In the Dos prompt type in "Ipconfig". It will then give you a list. The IP address is the one thats labeled "IP address"

wrong. that will give the internal network. IPCONFIG and look at hte gateway. if its a 192.168 number its internal too. you need to get into your router and it should have the DHCP or STATIC settings for the actuall address.

oh yeah good point i was thinkin he was connected straight to the net. :P Gateway will not work either that is just the address of the router or server.

like onyx said get into your router and find the outside IP address not the internal one. if its attbi then it might be something like 212.x.x.x you defently dont want the DHCP server IP number thats just the address to your internet providers DHCP servers.

OR just call your ISP!
