No they can't, but they are gonna catch a few hundred thousand and make examples of them.. you only have to change the file from wich the programs downloads it to.

I don't have any music sharing programs anymore due to viruses and ----, but I don't believe this crap. It's just a scare tactic and look, it's working. ::)

I heard on the news today that they filed lawsuits against another 250 today, but they said you can get around actually going thru trial and ---- by signing a document stating that you will delete all downloaded music and stop downloading. Either way, they can kiss my balls. :D

right now on kazaa, there is 3 819 458 users, they got alot of bustin to do, and they can't stop everyone download music, and, for those who want my user name on kazaa, its ------ rotas_are_sexy and if they come on my property, they better be ready for my dog and my louie slugger ! 8)

they can get you by recording the ip and the time you dled, then contact the isp. there is no way to make yourself invisable with current filesharing software but it can be done. anytime you directly connect to download something they get your ip and thats bad. soon there will be filesharing services that are totally encrypted and notcentrally based. that will make it harder for the riaa.

one to be totally anonymous is use a proxy, that makes it look like your actions are coming from someone elses computer. but for that to work on filesharing they would have to dl the file and then you dl from them.

trust me i usto do the hacking thing i got busted for hacking a government server, one more big offense like that and i get jail time or something. i was just being stupid and testing it out without using a proxy or anything, i was also 15 so that helped get me out too.

are there any sites that you can download from that aren't illegal? what about the ones that have monthly fees, would that be the same as using kazaa or something?
