No, depends whose doing it and how big the hole is, I mean if you have a .25 cent hole, no they wont fail you, but if half of your frigin subframe is eaten away by rust then yeah they will fail you.

Ya, spoon. I've saftied 4 cars now myself. They get picky on hole in floors, rockers and anywhere where water can get in and sit. If yyou have jagged rust edges, the want them smoothed. Windsheild depends on the place. If it is a small crack and not obstructing your view, a nice guy will pass it.

Re: ATN ONTARIO HMTers~*pics*~

Atleast in Ontario you only have to do it once! In Nova Scotia it's a yearly thing for safety inspection! Patch up the hole with some sheet metal and bondo. ;D

Ya, Spoon Those will have to be filled, Fiber glass is fine. All they want for is no water getting in. And that windsheild. goto a wrecker. there usually 125 installed

Re: ATN ONTARIO HMTers~*pics*~

Oh ya, Looks like your jack mounting point will be fine. Go to crappy tire and buy the Bonda Fibre Glass Sheat kit. something like 13.99. It will do the trick.

thats what happened in my car. any holes on the bottom of the car will fail safety because they allow "fumes" to enter the cabin.

My car had the same problem, solution.. new rockers both sides ;)
