My buddy James told me that (he's hmong)... also told me there was no Christmas ever, no gift giving, no tree, nothing... and he can't even give them cards because his mom can't read English and his dad doesn't really understand the concept of giving cards

As a whole though, I give Asians credit. They're the only race that no matter what, they don't whine about ----. They make thier own way, celebrate thier own culture without exclusion, and don't push thier values/culture ect on others. The only others that come to mind are Hawaiians.

as an injen I celebrate any holiday I can get presents. Hell I'll be jewish if you want me to and I'll take present for 8 days. A draydel or whatever is cool with me! Thats just how ghetto I am.

At my work half of my shift is hmong and I don't mind it at all. At break I can just read my magazines or read and just chill out and not have any interuptions. Plus they like me cause I'm really good friends with one of them so he puts a good word in for me with them and lets them know I'm not white and indian so they just feel more at ease knowing it's not some white dude but another minority.

why do asian people in general suck, ---- i think every parent in there own minds want there kids to acheive more than they ever did in there life. thats why asian parents when it comes to there kids they expect so much cause they came from a country where they had nothing. parents are just tryin to do there best to make sure u dont ---- up your life, and sometimes they go a little overboard. but that applies to every parent in the world, not just asian people.
